Meet & Greets for Northwest Colorado Solar Co-op
Meet solar experts and homeowners interested in going solar at fun events in Steamboat Springs, Craig Learn about the groundbreaking co-op before it launches

Solar United Neighbors expands access to solar by educating Colorado residents about the benefits of distributed solar, helping them organize group solar installations, and strengthening Colorado solar policies and its community of solar supporters. Co-op members will select a single company to complete all of the installations. They will then have the option to purchase panels individually based on their installer’s group rate. By going solar as a group and choosing a single installer, members can save up from the cost of going solar and have the support of fellow group members and solar experts at Solar United Neighbors.
The solar co-op is free to join but joining is not a commitment to purchase panels. Once the group is large enough, Solar United Neighbors will help the co-op solicit competitive bids from area installers. SUN has completed 11 co-ops across the state of Colorado, bringing solar to 316 homes. About Solar United Neighbors Solar United Neighbors is a nonprofit organization that works in Colorado and nationwide to represent the needs and interests of solar owners and supporters.
