The Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue will celebrate 120 years of service to the Steamboat Springs community with an open house at the Mountain Fire Station from 11am to 3pm on Saturday, September 9, 2017. During the open house, enjoy a cookout featuring free burgers and hot dogs; adult and kid activities such as face painting, hose spray, agility test, fire extinguisher training; and car seat safety checks. The majority of the department’s fire trucks, ambulances and equipment will be on display including the ladder truck with its 105-foot ladder.
