Steamboat Springs, CO-

Q. What are some of your favorite runs in Steamboat?
A. My favorite run in Steamboat is Heavenly Daze, unless there is fresh snow. Then I am out hiking around the Chutes.

Q. Where is the coldest place you’ve ever boarded?
A. The coldest was in Banff, Canada. We had a couple events at Mt. Norquay and it was -40 degrees.

Q. Do you have a signature article of clothing you wear when competing?
A. My belt buckle. It’s a Professional Bull Riding (PBR) Tour buckle that is about four inches in diameter. I have it on every time I am out on the snow.

Q. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
A. Make sure you’re always having fun, whether it’s with snowboarding or life in general.

Q. How do you like to relax?
A. By getting out in the fresh air. My favorite is to get out and go for a long hike on a mountain trail.

Q. What’s on your warm-up playlist?
A. My warm-up playlist is always getting refreshed with different types of music, but you can always find some Eagles songs on it.

Q. What’s the best bumper sticker you’ve ever read?
A. I am the Stig.

Q. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
A. If I am not still competing, I will probably be living back on Cape Cod working as a car mechanic.

Q. If you couldn’t snowboard, what other sport would you like to play professionally?
A. If I wasn’t snowboarding professionally I would like to either play hockey or BMX bike race. I did both growing up and I wish I stayed with it.

Q. Which chairlift in Steamboat do you think has the best views?
A. I like going up the gondola and looking out over the town. It’s almost like you can see what’s going on anywhere in town.

Q. If you had a superpower, what would it be?
A. I would want to fly. I have always thought it could be cool to be able to fly to and from anywhere.

Q. If you could speak any language fluently, what would it be?
A. German. It is the most common language used on the World Cup tour and I think it would be cool to be able to speak it.

Q. If you had three wishes, what would they be?
A. My first wish would be to go to space. The second would be time travel. And the third, to drive a Formula One race car.
