Q.
Where is the coldest place you’ve ever boarded?
A. Definitely at home, here in Québec, Canada.

Q. Do you have a signature article of clothing you wear when competing?
A. Since my first World Cup win in Carezza, Italy, in 2011, I carry my pass from that trip in my race jersey.

Q. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
A. Focus on one run at a time.

Q. How do you like to relax?
A. Reading a good book.

Q. Do you have any superstitions?
A. Not really. But when things go well, I tend to try and repeat what I did at following races.

Q. What’s on your warm-up playlist?
A. Music that puts me in a good mood and pumps me up!

Q. Who is your favorite fictional character?
A. Waylander, from David Gemmell's fantasy books.

Q. What are your educational or alternate career goals?
A. I've been slowly taking PR classes. I really like everything to do with communication.

Q. How do you like to celebrate a victory?
A.
We often have to travel right after a race, so it's often a delayed celebration. But to go out for dinner with my friends or my teammates is always the best.

Q. What’s your favorite TV show right now?
A. “
Game of Thrones,” for sure.

Q. Do you prefer small towns or big cities?
A.
I live in the big city, but am truly a small town kinda gal.

Q. How do you rebound from a bad run?
A.
Depending on the circumstance, if I'm racing I try and learn from it and move on as fast as possible... No lingering negative thoughts permitted!

Q. If you had a superpower, what would it be?
A.
Shape shifter. It would be really cool to be able to embody anything you want.

Q. What is your favorite social networking site?
A.
Twitter.
