Mt. Werner had a toupée this morning. Oh, and 2 feet of fresh snow!

Steamboat locals and visitors alike awoke to a magnificent morning today, complete with 24 inches of fresh snow delivered in the previous 24 hours. Despite the blue skies, clouds lingered over both Mt. Werner and Buffalo Mountain throughout the morning, keeping the powder fresh. It would appear that the snow clouds just don't want to leave us alone; maybe they are subject to the Yampa Valley Curse too. The rest of the sky soon became overcast, and additional snow began to fall. With up to a foot and a half of fresh snow predicted to fall by Thursday night, it's tempting to stay up on the slopes all week!
