Bronze Radio Return w/ The Dunwells 03/23/2013 - 03:00 PM

Do you know how to Shake, Shake, Shake? Come find out with Bronze Radio Return this March in the Steamboat Ski & Resort base area. The band is starting off the year with a massive winter tour that will have them on the road through the Spring and beyond, including a stop in Steamboat Springs. Bronze Radio Return will join with UK’s The Dunwells for a show in Gondola Plaza on March 23rd.

Bronze Radio Retutrn is currently touring on the success of their most recent single “Shake, Shake, Shake,” the title track from their sophomore album which debuted at #4 on the Billboard’s Northeast Regional Heatseekers Chart. The song was the #2 most added at AAA Radio in late November and is gaining adds daily while continuing to get play on key radio stations across the country, including Nashville’s Lightning 100, Dallas’ KXT, and KFOG in San Francisco. In addition, the song has had more than 50 television/film syncs – including a Home Depot/Behr Paint commercial, CW's Heart of Dixie, and HBO’s 24/7 Flyers/Rangers: Road to the NHL Winter Classic, among others. Check out the song here in the new Worldwide Nissan Leaf Commercial that started airing this past fall:

The Hartford, Connecticut based sextet found their beginnings at one of the country’s best music institutions, The Hartt School. The band recorded and released their first album Old Time Speaker independently in 2009. SHAKE! SHAKE! SHAKE!, their second and latest full-length studio album, was also released independently in 2011 and garnered a #4 debut on the Billboard Northeast Regional Heatseekers Chart upon its release. The success of the album earned them the attention of DigSin, who signed the band in 2012. For the creation of Shake Shake Shake, the band enlisted producer Chad Copelin (Green River Ordinance, Ben Rector) and took some time to record the album in Copelin’s home state of Oklahoma, where locals would pop in and lend the band an ear, and of course, instruments. The result was an album full of hand-clappable, sing-alongable songs – with every single track on the album garnering a sync since its release. To date, Bronze Radio Return has been synced over 50 times.

The nonstop touring has not slowed Bronze Radio Return down one bit as they are already putting the finishing touches on their third album which they plan to release later this Spring. A brand new track called “Further On,” the world’s first taste of the forthcoming record, is currently being featured on a brand new PGA tour advertisement. Stay tuned for more details on the album and catch BRR live this Spring.
